The Competition

Contestants watch the video below.

The video shows a piece of flint in flake stage (shown before 0:55) and preform stage (shown after 0:57).

Contestants must and must estimate how much time it took to knap the piece of flint from flake to preform stage.

Entries must be in the form of minutes and seconds.

The prize is the finished piece of point shown in the video. The closest guess will recieve it mailed to them free of charge.

Multiple guesses are allowed, however read rules 8 and 9 carefully before making multiple guesses.

Rules

1. Competition is free to enter.

2. Any member of the forum may enter.

3. All entries must be posted in this topic within the above dates.

4. Entries must take the format of a timing in minutes and seconds.

5. Please read previous guesses before posting yours to avoid duplication. In the event of two people guessing the same time, and it is the winning time, the member who posted the guess first will be deemed winner.

6. Closest time guessed to the actual time wins.

7. In the event of two members being equally close to the actual time, one guess higher and one guess lower than the actual time, the lower guess will be deemed winner.

8. Only one guess per post, if multiple guesses are made in the same post, the post will be ignored.

9. Members may make one guess post each calendar week, starting Monday.

10. I will PM the winner and announce the name of the winner in this thread. THe winner has until the 15th of October to respond, if nothing is heard from the winner by then the prize will be offered to the runner up.

The correct time is 17mins 32 seconds, (full video below), which make Kawasemi the winner, congratulations. In line with the rules he now must claim his prize before midnight on the 15th of October and I will send it to him.
