Knapping Music Empty Knapping Music

You may imagine blades, scrapers, axes, spears was what ancient man learnt to knap for. However another alternative is there's music in those stones.

Two excellent articles here look at prehistoric flint music.

I can see some of you are still sceptical. Here try this..... (This idea may even have occured to a few of you who have tested a piece of flint to see how well it will knap)

So, flint can be used to make music, but there is no obvious widespread use of it as such.

Someone probibly did use it in the past, but just because they could, didn't mean they would.

maybe there were better alternatived to hitting flint out there, after all, it isn't all that prtable, is it.
