anyone been knapping recently?

i pop on here most days to see if anyone has posted, i was wondering if anyone has done any knapping recently? if so please lets see any pics of the items, i would also like to see a pic of the flint pre napping , many thanks, steve.

I know i'm replying to an old message, i'm suprised no one has posted any of thier fine work! I will post some photos when i can figure out how! I'm only just crawling out of the stone age myself!

hmm... have tried to upload images, but the fiters on the library computers seem to be stopping me. Methinks i'll have to raid a friend's one instead.

Ok, tackled knapping a node today, started to get it down to an 8" point. Have to admit, it was pretty coarse, and full of step fractures, but getting there.

Sadly, I was just starting to tidy it up, and thin it down when it decided it wanted to be twins.

Both twins are doing well, and I will post a piccie of them when I'm finished.
