Horse Hoof Fungus

Post by the barnacle on Mon Feb 02, 2015 6:16 pm

I picked this fungus up today while parked in a layby on my way home from a delivery - its very dry, they used to use them to transport fire i believe, tonight i lit a small piece and about half an hour later when i blew on it it glowed and would be great for firelighting, also the smell of it burning is quite nice Very Happy

Massive, how long would the fire last without blowing on it?

I am fond of pigs. Dogs look up to us. cats look down on us but pigs treat us as equals.

Stupidity got us into this mess, why can't it get us out
