New flint knapping book

It came out in June and I had to have a copy....

The writer clearly has a problem with millimeters, any measurement in mm divide by ten and you will get what he's discribing, the facts are a bit screwy and Folsom points are occasionally called "Fullsome", Cuberland points are mis-shapen and text mentions they are "clearly unfluted" when the drawing is clearly fluted! The illustrations are poor computer done pixelated kak, and the bibliography is only 6 papers and books long missing out the obvious ones like Lord, Whittaker etc.

There is more to complain about, but I am really pleased to see something from a U.K. writer.
Pity it's mostly about slab knapping American rocks.

I'm going to flog myself with nettles now for being so cruel! 

Sorry, the bibliography is 8! Still rather small for a subject this huge.

Interesting there's a book by a British knapper, despite your review I'm still going to give it a go, so sooth yourself with Dock leaves.
