Dulcote Agate Empty Dulcote Agate

Agate is probably the most beautiful knappable rock of all and native to Britain. It was mined since Roman times from Dulcote Limestone quarry in Somerset which closed in the 1970's. What was possibly the last nodule supply in Britain ran out earlier however it can still be bought in half nodules at reasonable prices below to small slices 5 times that price on Ebay.
