Publicising this site

I've been a bit inactive lately, the new job, move to a new country and all, but now I settled I hope to be more active again.

I've notice 2 things, members seem to be finding this place, even though it seem unfindable. I did a google search for UK Knapping forum and we didn't appear, despite the forum having that exact meta tag.

So a couple of requests really, firstly I was wondering how people found this forum? And also any idea on how to improve the visibility of the forum, such as linking to other sites?

If I remember, it was via a search engine, I think I typed in flint knapping forum. The forum was quite a bit down the list, but perseverence brought me here.

Not sure about improving visibility, apart from more activity to wake up the little web spiders , and, of course, maybe some links (can help with the first by putting up some photos of very amaturish knapping by me . Will work on that when I get home tonight).

i also found it via a search on flint knapping forum, i pop on regular to see what new posts are on but it would be good if the site was more active, i am a moderator on another forum so i will see if i can find out how to make this site more visable.

We've got two whole post on Bushcraft UK now publicising us.

I think one method is links in other forums as google treats this as a rating guide.
