Paleolithic or Neolithic quartzite flake? Empty Paleolithic or Neolithic quartzite flake?

Found this blade/flake on Sunday- seems to be very sharp edged for an ancient quartzite flake. Would 'modern' Neolithic peoples have ever used this material over flint?

They wouldn't have used it over flint as it is inferior to work in everyway. Also not all quartzite is equal, some knaps quite well, other is impossible. Quartzite tended to be knapped by prehistoric people when better material was not available.
