Wiltshire and Berkshire flint Empty Wiltshire and Berkshire flint

Hello all. I was recently traveling through these counties and noticed a lot of the buildings were made of flint... I've looked at the flintquarry data base that Grendel shared with me on another thread, but can't find a quarry there....I was wondering if anyone new where the flint source is? I've googled building supplies in those counties, but no success!

Best wishes James

I just got loads of results from google. Just enter Wilshire or Bershire followed by Chalk Mine. Seem they were both home to brick industries at one time>
