hi all,

i've been knapping since spring, after i convinced my employers into letting me teach primitive skills part time and thought i had better find a chalk quarry and skill up on flint:)

anyways, an outbuilding of rubble and another trip to the quarry later, i'm kinda getting it.. made some arrowheads, a few nice knives, tested some bits to destruction and learnt quite a lot so far.. i even took some of my teen aged students (i work at a SEN college) through gluemaking and knapping to hafting finished spears...

and its very nice to see a uk knapping community!
