hello all.

I was just wondering where everyone lives? You never know their might be a knapper around the conner from you. 

Im presently living in Staffordshire, but will be moving to york in the summer.

No... I'm in Eccleshall at the moment... I'm starting an MA in mesolithic studies at York in September. So we are presently living with my wife's family, saving some money for the time out of work... We should be hear until the summer.

Ah yes, Eccleshall I see from further up the post.
I've only just started knapping so am scouring this forum for info on almost everything, I got a few flint pieces to play with from work but need to find a more plentiful source really, lots of Web trawling lol

flint is hard to come by in the midlands - if i manage to get some good flint i will let you know - also some great knappers on here apart from me - not much they dont know.
