I bought one of these tiles off ebay and had a go at knapping it. It's 8mm so thick enough to knap unlike regular glass which is too thin. Also glass is much easier to knap than flint so excellent for beginners to practice on. I'm thinking of getting another one, along with a cheap glass cutter, I would guess you could get 4-6 arrowheads out of a single tile.

Here's the spearhead I made.

i like to knap a bit of glass once in a while although the last load i picked up was very brittle and tended to break in any direction if wanted,

TV screen glass works well and there are a lot of them being dumped lately. I spread it round to the neighbours, if they are getting rid of their TVs send them my way. Got 4 so far. The glass is quite brittle though, there some metal included in it. Haven't got any old computer monitors yet though.
